Preparing for Europe

Last few days before we head to Paris via Perth WA.
Tuesday am fly to Perth for a few days with family before departing for Paris via Singapore.
Posting this to check that Bloggeroid still works. It's been a while!
No motorcycling this time. Just Celeste & I in Paris with #1 son, partner & new granddaughter. Hopefully a side trip to the French Alps and then 10 days in Berlin/Potsdam before returning via Singapore and direct flight to Canberra.

All under control except for "lost" Eurail Passes - thanks Australia Post!

All bikes packed and ready to go.
An excellent indian meal in Wellington, before an early night.
Quick drive up Mt Victoria for a night time view of Wellington.



Ferry depart 8am, so early rise as we need to be at ferry terminal by 7am!
Overcast and windy, but better weather forecast for South Island. Will be cool, but should be mainly dry!

I will be departing for Wellington on Sunday 28th from Sydney to meet the others.

Monday 29th is shakedown day. Last minute purchases, packing and arranging/distribution of gear.
Ferry for South Island is booked for Tuesday 1st, and Marco has been hard at working preparing the bikes.
